MONETARY DONATIONS:
Loaves & Fishes Food Bank is always in need of financial donations. For every $1.00 donated, we are able to provide over $5.00 worth of food to people in need throughout our community.

In person in Nanaimo: Our 210 Fry Street office is open 10am - 3pm, Monday - Friday (barring holidays).

In person in Port Hardy: Our Harvest Building at 7120 Market Street in Port Hardy is open 11am - 3pm Monday - Saturday (barring holidays)

You can also help by donating your empty drink containers! Our Empties 4 Food social enterprise raises funds that go directly towards providing food for people in need. To find an empties donation bin near you, click HERE
Donate A Car Canada accepts vehicle donations for Loaves & Fishes:
They provide free towing in many areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you Donate your RV, boat, motorcycle or other vehicle to Loaves and Fishes through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction depending on its condition, age and location. Donate A Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for your Charity to benefit. After your Vehicle Donation is complete, Loaves and Fishes will send you a tax receipt within 45 days!

All food donations may be dropped off at our warehouse at 210 Fry Street from 10am - 3pm, Monday - Friday (barring holidays). There are also food donation bins in the following stores in Nanaimo:

In Port Hardy:
Food donations can be brought to our Harvest Building at 7120 Market Street from 11am - 3pm, Monday - Saturday (barring holidays).
A pick-up may be arranged for larger donations if we are able to at the time.
Most Needed Items:
For perishables such as milk, eggs, cheese, butter, margarine, fresh and frozen meat products, jams and jellies, please contact Loaves & Fishes office
